Wicks Opus 2509 – Fuga Deluxe (1942)

Price: $2000 OBO - Buyer to Arrange for Removal

Wicks Opus 2509 a Two manual 3 Rank Fuga-Deluxe (Real 16′ Bourdon), ensconced in case style 3N constructed of Walnut and Mahogany, built in 1942 for House of the Good Shepherd in Wauwatosa, WI.

This instrument has traveled between several different owners in from its original installation, to Omaha, then to Ohio, but has called the Washington D.C. residence of composer Scott Pender home since 2007.

Mr. Pender describes the instrument as: “It’s in pretty good shape, a couple notes that don’t play on a couple of stops, but a good cleaning would probably clear most of that up. The old wiring may have a loose connection or two. The original power supply, blower, and reservoir are in my basement, connected to organ on 1st floor. The walnut case is in good shape, quite beautiful. I have a tremolo box, unconnected. (I could never figure out how to connect it.)”

Dimensions: 7’11” high + 4″ of crown molding; 6’3″ wide; 6’10” deep.
