Phase one completed. Following initial evaluation of the instrument, Phase one of this project involved a complete releathering of the Console, Great, Swell, Positive and Choir relay pneumatic’s in order to get the instrument into a playable state in which to further evaluate its preservation needs following an unfortunate attempt at rebuilding by a previous curator which rendered this sizable instrument all but unplayable. This stepped approach has given the congregation a playable instrument, and is allowing them to raise funds for further restoration work in manageable segments.
