Wicks was contracted to build two replacement “fill-in” pipes for the churches Rodgers Hybrid instrument. The reclaimed Hinners pipework (circa 1896) utilized in this instrument by the late Ken Kohler, namely the 4′ Flauto Traverso, was missing C#3 and D3 and were using the Rodgers voices to fill in the gap. Two new Sugar Pine pipes were constructed to replace these missing notes, as well as replacement of tuning scrolls on several others and finished in orange shellac. Work completed 10/2024.
